IMEI 0110 Can I use in India

I have this Nokia 6030 The IMEI no is 011052/00/555231/8.Some one said if the IMEI no starts with 0 then I can't use it in India.
I bought it in the US. The frequency band is 850/1900. Could some one tell me if I can use this in India. India uses 900/1800 frequency band.

the answer is NO,your phone works 850/1900mhz India 900/1800mhz you need a 6030 from europe for it to work in India
