Heres my problem I need help with, I killed my ms25 drive so i bought another one from ebay. My question is now that I have it here with me I need someone who knows what they are doing to tell me how to get this new one to jive with my 360 motherboard. I hope to get anybody to either guide me step by step or private message me with a link that shows how to do it. Thanx for the help!

You have to insert your original key into the new drive.

that does help me out alittle bit thanx but will that work if i have a 360 that had a ms25 and then i bought an ms25 to go back in it?

I figured the part that would help was how from the samsung he extracted the firmware, then extracted the key. But instead of inserting the key into the hitachi firmware, you'd insert it into the new sam's firmware.

The article shows what he used and how he did it. Isn't that what you're looking for?
