Hi, I have recently purchased a DVD recorder as a Christmas gift for my mother and am testing it for ease of use. All is fine except that when recording I am unable to change the TV channel or watch any other channels other than the one being recorded. The recorder has built in freeview. I am unsure as to whether this this is correct (hopefully not) or being inexperienced in such matters I may have done something obviously wrong. The recorder is connected solely to the TV. Hope someone can help please?
