Hi all. Prob something simple & have searched but maybe cant see for looking.

I can run the game ISO/CSO's i have fine using DEVHOOK 0.46 but only with the usb cable still linked to my PC.

Obviously I'd like to use my PSP the way its intended and to game freely so to speak. When i unplug the connection from the PC the games become unplayable.

I've put the unzipped ISO in the GAME folder on ROOT. Is this right?

Are there settings i need to change in DEVHOOK to be able to run the ISO without USB connected?

When Ive selected the ISO in devhook a screen appears on my PSP saying i need to update software to version 2.81 from the 2.71 Ive got on. If i try the game just freezes on the PSP screen and then shuts down?

Feels like I'm nearly there but just missing something. Any ideas? x

use the easy installer for 2.71 . put your iso cso in the ISO folder on you m/s

no you have to put your iso's on the iso folder not on the game folder.that should do the trick no more tutorials from any body
you should see you iso folder when you open your mem stick

Thanks for the help so far, but (In't there always a but) ;)I dont see an ISO folder on the root. Only 2 there are dh & PSP folders.

Is it possible Ive deleted it while previously messing with things? Although if this was the case would it not have created a new one if needed after format?

Does it come with the easy installer Russ_R mentioned?

Create an ISO folder in the root of your memory stick.
