any ideas why I get this error message?
(I have AnyDVD running in the background)

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to read file "D:\"

Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

The DVD you are trying to backup is probably protected by the ARccOS copy protection system. Shrink cannot do this movie. Try using RipIt4Me.

Hatten73,
Try cleaning the DVD real well and then use the ripper function in AnyDVD and rip it to HD. Make sure you also use FixVTS(included w/ AnyDVD's ripper function) to process any structural problems. If it fails again then you probably have a bad mastering press and you need to return it for exchange.
