cant seem to fix error 16 - any advice?

Sorry if this has been asked lots of times already but I've just softmodded my new xbox using Endure 3 but I receive an error.

After I did the mod I was given an error 21 code straight after the xbox logo all the time so I searched and found it was recommended that I restore the backup and try the mod again, so I did that but now I get error 16 straight after the xbox logo when booting with both the tray open and closed.

I can't FTP to the box as I cant get to the dash.

Does anybody know if there's a simple fix to do, preferably using my current tools i.e. xboxhdm and Endure3

So you might have deleted some dashboard files.
Try Auto Installer Deluxe...
Download AID 3.0, or AID 3.10 (torrent)
Once downloaded extract the files so you have an .iso.
Burn it to a disc with DVD Decrypter (it is in the tools folder of your extracted AID archive)
Turn your xbox on and put the AID disc in and try and boot it. If a screen appears that it is AID. Click install MSdash, and then you'll have the original dashboard setting. Then if you want aid lets you install a few dashboards for you. Also it automatically installs apps and emu's for you.

Thanks for replying but I cannot boot via DVD as the dashboard won't load - the error comes up straight after the xbox logo at the start

tried to take HD back to retail state but still get frikkin error 16!

rebuilt the drive using xboxhdm and put on retail c drive from slayers disc but it still gives me error 16... any ideas wot i should try next?
