That looks like the ViperGC Extreme's USB adapter if I'm not mistaken.

Yes, you can still use the BBA but you may want to try using the USB ripping client instead.

Thanks goes out to theridges for the userbars :)

Then dont bother installing the USB adapter, and make sure you use GCOS i found it to have better compatibility with media.

Borrow money from a Pessimist, he wont expect it back!

Indeed.

Since you don't want to use the USB anyway, GCoS would be an excellent replacement for the original BIOS. Reason being, GCoS has more features and stability.

ok i've gotten my gamecube with the chip. i've tried loading mario kart DD with cobras 1.6 but nothing worked. i then tried GCOS 1.5 and it worked but then got disc read errors or so. after that, my gc stopped reading. it just doesnt read the discs that much.

any help? should i mess with the POTS?

Try getting some top notch media first. If that doesn't help, then go ahead and adjust the pot.

You can also find out what quality media you have by visting this page.
