Yes it is quite possible to do this if both computers are online. One simple way would be to use the remode desktop software that comes with xp pro. But if you decide that you do not like that software you could use something like realvnc. It is free and easy to use.

Let me know if this helps.

It is.
Like jziman said, realvnc and openvnc are free options you could consider, if both systems run xp professional or corporate edition they'll have remote desktop, which basically does the same as realvnc and openvnc, which is take control of a system you own, or that you are allowed to control.

hi,both comps have Win Pro so have tried using remode desktop, but when I go 2 connect to my other comp & click on browse for computers.
under available computers my workgroup is there but when I double click on it, it comes up saying, The KIWIGROUP domain/workgroup does not contain any Terminal servers.
Can anyone help?
I have set up a home or small office network (KIWIGROUP) on both Comps. Still cant figure out how to transfer/share files etc between them, if thats different to the remode desktop program.
thanks
