I am wanting to play backups of course on my PSP and I have a choice between PSP v1.52 or PSP v2.60?

What is the best way to go? Cause I realize I can upgrade v2.60 to v2.70 and use devhook which seems easier than upgrading and then downgrading the v1.52.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

get the 1.52, upgrade it to 2.00 and downgrade it to 1.50. You can stay ther or upgrade to 2.71 SE-C which is even better than 1.50

if you can get a hold on a 1.52 definitely go for that

when you get it upgrade to 2.0 then downgrade with this:

Hmm sorry but whats the advantage of v1.52 over the v2.6 which I can upgrade to v2.7 and use devhook and HENC to get my backups playing?

Is it the motherboard issue?

Thanks again for your input-much appreciated.

2.71 PSPs have about 1/4 of the capabilities of a Custom firmware PSP (either 1.5 , 2.71 SE C)

Thanks again.

So for just playing backups though and ease of use.....it does seem to me its much easier using v2.6 etc and then ugrading to the v2.70 and installing devhook and HENC?

I think? or maybe not hehe

Sorry, I just want to make the "right" choice and you guys know much more than I do, thus part of why I am here. :)

Thanks

it is alot easier to to all the stuff on 1.5(simple drag and drop, no flashing or anything). if you get a 2.71 and use Hend their are lots of other things you will be missing out on besides running ISOs.

if you can get a 1.52 get it. it is really a hands down decision

Okay LOL I guess I will. Then just upgrade to 2.0 and downgrade to 1.5 and then install devhook etc?

Thanks

lol if you knew what you could do on a 1.5 you would take it in 2 seconds.

Is your old PSP still not working?

You might want to buy a modchip instead of a new PSP (its alot cheaper).

Hmm I have read a bit about the modchip but I certainly can't install it myself and prob labor plus mod chip equals about what I would pay for a new one.

I still have the PSP yes, its making a good door stop right now. *sigh*

I am in Canada as well so not sure where to locate for a price etc.

I know its a good thing for sure, but I read so much information on sights like this and there is about one thousand different ways (im exaggerating) to do things.

I must admit reading so much info does cause confusion at times. :)
