Using PS2 HardDrive In Computer !

Ok guys, I got a Modchip put in my Ps2 and i now longer have a chubby Ps2 i have the slim. I also have a ps3 and am not using this hard drive so i placed it in my computer. It is read in WinHIIP and such but not in My Computer ( never has ) . I would like to reformat it so it works with my PC and i ahve 150gb more storage. Any programs that will read the HDD and then is able to format will defiently benefit me. Thanks alot guys,

Do you have windows XP?

If so click start/control panel/administrative tools/computer management/disk management/

Then click your 150GB HD and formate it to NTSF

Yes i have Windows XP. I tried this and it only brings up the 2 Hard drives i usually use. It says its their when i start up my computer and when i use WinHIIP its read but just not when i try anything else. any other ideas?

You may need to initialize the drive from the same menu first. The format it.

I have to disagree. I have used disk management to format plenty of Xbox drive to NTSF as well as a Xbox drive to PS2 formate with winhiip then back to NTSF with disk management. Never needed to use the old clunky DOS fdisk.

Correct, as long as you have the proper permissions, you should see any harddrive connected in the disk management program.

We are talking under the administrators settings, not going through control panel->system->device management.
