hi plz help i backed up 6 games using Samsung SH-D162C Black DVD Rom Drive With Latest Kreon 0.81 Firmware and
Schtrom360Xtract_V3[1].1. then tried to back up another today it gets to 3% and says extracting ss.bin file then fails and says error code 2 security sectors failed i have tried rebooting the computer like some ppl have suggested but nothing i even tried backup creator and get thesame problem at 3% any help i would be very grateful thanks

make sure your disc is spotless when backing it up as this can cause problems, if that does not work have you tried using Schtrom version 3.0? I had problems with 3.1 but when using 3.0 all works fine.

try to open schtrom first then load the disc up giving it time to load before pressing start .... but as shinnster says it may be the disc that is slighlty marked or damaged ...

thanks for all your help i tred everything every1 said still didnt work so as a last effort i system restored my computer back a week and dont know how but it worked "weird" just glad it did hope this might help some1 else to
