I'm a newbie to this side that doesn't really know much about my slim ps2 console, i'm not sure that was a modchip was install on my console as the pirated games are able to be played on my console. As for my slim ps2 console version i'm not able to know it. As i browse around i saw some talking about HDD on ps2 was it an additional HDD intall on ps2 trough the usb port? i've currently copy files of the ps2 games from my friend online but it wasn't in .iso format or any sort of disc image, it was the file contain the the dvd and i'm currently trying to burn it out to play but it can't be loaded on my console. Could some one direct me as i'm a newbie and in lost.

What was the version of my slim ps2 console if the model was SCPH-70006?

i think its a verison13 but not for sure, and if you are going to use a usb hdd i think you need a disc called usb extreme or somethin, and games run slower on a external hdd, in my opinion, your better off using swap magic or getting a modchip to play backups cuz i dont think there is another way, you can play psx games without chips or swapmagic, if your into that, just follow this guide http://www.geocities.com/pstwoslimline/tapetissue.htm and then you start to watch this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzUdx0sQwzk
