Hi, I read the whole thread, but I'm on a headache right now...
I have my original NBA2K7 game, but it's kinda scratched, so I want to copy it so it works fine again.
I will do the Flash Hack, but I'm confused, as I see there are a lot of firmware versions to put on the Xbox360, What one is recommended?
And also, to make the copy work:
I also see there are a lot of methods going on, there's this method that requires the burner to be opened and change disk while it does something.
Then there's CloneCD, DVD Decrtypter, the tutorial on this website, and a lot of softwares, I just can't understand what way is better.
Oh, I also have this guy that tells me that with the last firmware available the 360 reads every copy, without doing patches, please inform me.
Can anybody help me please?
I hate to bother.
Thank you.

copying a game wont make it run any better just remove all the visable damange but if u flashed ur 360 u could always rent it and burn it. so if u thinking about flashing it u need to know what type of drive u have first, go here here to find out.

Thanks for answering.
According to the Pic, It's a Samsung drive.
So, how do I copy the game to make it work if I had flash, the regular 'Copy DVD' method will work?
Because I see there are quite a few methods around, and I don't know which one will do it.

To copy a game you will need to have the correct drive in your pc (unless you're gonna take your box apart everytime you wanna rip a game) which is samsung 162c or a samsung 162a both flashed with the kreon firmware (pc drives)
The software you will then need is xbox backup creator or schtrom. these will enable you to rip a complete game using just your pc.
You will then need to have compatible dual layer burner and clone cd or Imgburn to burn the iso.
sounds like a fair bit but is really straight forward once you have all these :-)

Thanks buddies.
Now, 3 more Questions, where Do I find this Samsung 163a DVD Double Layer burner? How Do I flash it?
Once I have both the 163a, and the 360 flashed, How exactly do I make the backup. Because the tutorial here has the SS step.

You can get yourself an SD-162c drive from here (if you're n the uk) This is not a burner though, this is to rip the games once it is flashed with Kreon firmware.
To flash your drive I suggest you read and read and read about it until all makes sense and then if you are still stuck then come back here and ask what you need to know. there are a few easy to follow guides out there (check xbox360-hacks.com)
And when you come to making a back up, if you have either xbox backup creator or schtrom it is as easy as putting the disk in and ripping the entire game, then burning that image onto a DL disk with a supported DL writer.
job jobbed :-)

Actually I'm in the US, again, thanks for the info, so the samsung drive is a DVD DL reader? Then I can out the DVD on it and do all the process, right?

I'm on another little confusion.
Why Do I need samsung 163a? To Pass the game to the computer?
And why do I have to take the box apart every time if I don't have this drive?

They are not available in the US. You have to get one off one of these online sites, ebay is my option since I don't want to get my family in credit card debt. Might have to pay more than usual but what the hell, I owe no one.

Again, stop trying to plug your business. And get rid of that email addy. It's against forum rules and will be reported every single time you post it.
