I am pretty sure that DVD FAB Decrypter did this one and then Shrink/Recode to make it fit on a single layer disc.

I did AnyDVD and DVDShrink and had no problems what so ever.

Is your AnyDVD updated tot he latest update? 6.0.9.5 is the latest one.

Unless there is an inherent problem with the disc, one of those combos of programs should have worked.

AnyDVD > VOBB > Shrink > ImgBurn perfect backup for me.

What's the error you're receiving?

Latest AnyDVD to rip > VOBB to blank the unwanted on a DVD > Shrink to compress > ImgBurn to burn = Never starting a thread asking how to backup a movie
