ok guys. i have a slim ps2, the serial number or whatever is 70....somthing. My swap magic 3.6 plus just came in today and the cd one works. BUT....the dvd one doesnt, the playstation 2 logo comes, but after that nothing comes up, its just complete darkness. If anyone have a slim ps2, with swap magic 3.6 plus....how did you make it work???? and will the cdloader method work on my slim ps2???i think that i heard that it wont work on my slim ps2. GUYS PLEASE HELP, I JUST BOUGHT THE SWAP MAGIC CD'S AND A NEW DVD BURNER, PLEASE HELP.

First, slap yourself in the face for posting in caps like that. After you gain your wits back, try this...Just put the SM in the ps2 like any other game and start it up. Try doing this before you modify the console at all! If the discs won't start up correctly and other games do start up fine, there is a problem with the discs.

alright man ill try that tomarrow, my swap magic cd one works, but the dvd one is the only one it doesnt owrk with. all my other ps2 games work though, so i dont think its my laser or anything.

if it were the laser it would not read any of your games.
Also, what other mod do you have, Swap Magic by itself will not play
your back up games.

It is most likely the disc if you have other games that do work.
contact the place you bought it from, wh i hope is reputable, and
see about getting a replacement.

well i got it from clearxbox.com and i emailed them 4 days ago and they havent answered yet. The games i bought, the original games, works fine. the dvd one just isnt working. is it possible to do the cogswap method on my slim, oh yea i dont know how to do the cogswap on my ps2 slim. I tryed doing the cdloader on my slim ps2 but its not working, everytime i click load after putting in the swap magic cd, nothing comes up, i think it says not a vaild ps2 game or somthing.
