First, name your post something more informative than 'OMG'. Second, your grammar is horrible, not trying to be rude, but I can barely understand what you're saying. If you are trying to tell people about the video mode feature in Swap Magic that you 'discovered', you are mistaken. It is a nice handy little feature, but it is in the program to be used. Not a secret function to be discovered.

Razor89 give Tru_dz (Newbie)a brake OMG! he is just so happy that he discovered the video mode in swap magic.anyway u didnt tell him why his screen was jumping.the reason is Tru_dz that if your ps2 was a PAL version your screen would not skip.so if you ever back up a PAL game and try to play it on your NTSC ps2. just swith video mode to NTSC . and you will say omg........

hah Neptune...I guess I should give newbies a break, eh? Just tired of seeing all these posts by newbies that seem like they are asking or pointing out common knowledge! I see all the newbies as one giant user making a bunch of ridiculous posts. I'll try to be more understanding in the future, unless they do not use the search function!
sorry Tru_dz

If you get games from a different region, chances are you won't be able to play it, straight from the box. This incompatibility is the result of the different countries adopting different TV broadcast systems. There are two main types of format for consoles and games. These are PAL and NTSC format. PAL format refers to consoles and games compatible in Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and parts of Europe. NTSC format refers to consoles and games compatible in the Japan, USA, Canada, and other countries in North America. NTSC runs on 525 lines/frame and with a refresh rate of 60Hz, while PAL runs on 625 lines/frame (larger screen height) at 50Hz.
Modern TVs from anywhere should be able to resolve either 50Hz or 60Hz. Yet, for protectionist reasons, US manufacturers generally put 60Hz restrictions into their TVs making it very difficult to view anything to do with PAL thus the picture rolls because of the scan rate difference. By contrast, TVs made in Europe (except the real budget models) are able to resolve both 50Hz and 60Hz and so rolling of the picture does not occur if it sees an NTSC TV signal.
Unless the TV is multi-system, (most modern off-the-shelf European TVs are), a NTSC TV will not display a PAL signal in color and your PAL TV will not display an NTSC signal in color. You can try patching the .ISO file with JAYTEEMASTER's NTSC to PAL or PAL to NTSC converter (which you can get from http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003. OR use ADR Patcher. Alternatively you can purchase a converter box/signal converter which you can buy from a site like ChipZone.
Swap Magic does support a forced video mode. Even if you force the game to whatever region your TV/PS2 is, it may still be off center or in black and white.
If you have Swap Magic you can try the following:
1 - Put swap magic in the drive and load it up.
2 - When prompted, use your disc swapping method to change Swap Magic for your backup game
3 - Using the Swap Magic menu on-screen, change the program loading option from 'NORMAL' to either 'PAL' or 'NTSC' depending on which you would like to boot your program as.
4 - Hit OK when you have selected the correct option.
5 - The game will load as normal but will boot your CD/DVD images in the required mode.

Hah, I cannot deny that I was a noob at one point in time, but can anyone? As far as swap magic goes, I do not consider myself as ever being a noob in this forum. I joined the forum to help, which you can see if you read my first ever post. Anyways...Don't get offended. Sometimes people have bad days, right? Nice way of putting the noob sentence...I may put that in my sig. Nice sig as well! Also...I believe you are the only person I have ever apologized to on AD except for maybe a mod or two. Feel special!

Doesn't noob mean newbie? According to this, you are, by definition, a noob. Don't deny it. Embrace it. One of these days you will look back at those times and wish you were a noob again. Nowadays people expect posts with useful information in them. As a noob, I had nothing expected of me. Wow, doesn't that sound like a chat a parent would give a child lol
