No sound on one of the .vob files

I ripped "Gods and Generals" with SmartRipper last night and sat down to watch the .vob files before I took the time to encode them. I got through all of Side A with no problems, but when it progressed to Side B, there was no sound. I checked all the .vob files after the first one, and they still had sound.

Does anyone know why this one file doesn't have sound, but all the others do? Anyone ripped any double-sided movies like "Gods and Generals" and had similar problems?

I have had the exact same problem. I used SmartRipper last night too, and also tried it with a couple of other apps. But the only thing I found out was if I used DVDShrink103 and tried to reauthor it, I had the same trouble. I could either get it with the extra feature (no sound) preceeding the first clip of side B, and then the .VOB had sound. But you had to forward through this extra feature to get to the first part of side B -- if I didn't add that part, there wouldn't be sound to the first clip of the movie on side B. (Hope that makes sense.)
As I'm still kind new at this stuff, it's easy to forget what you tried and in which order you tried it. :)
Maybe someone more advanced will know the proper way to go about it.
