hello everyone, i am new here, so please be gentle. i just bought a DVD on ebay from england and it would not play due to area limitations. i tried to re-burn it by changing the region specifications to region 1 and i am still having problems, any help please????

This could be due to the movie being PAL format and your system is only NTSC compatible. You would need to convert the DVD to NTSC.

You can use a few different programs for this.

ConvertXTODvd which is a pay program. There is a trial but it leaves a watermark on the video. Below is a guide on how to use it.
