softmodded xbox with unleashx dashboard and want to install XBMC

I have a softmodded xbox with unleashx dashboard and want to install XBMC throught do I neede to unloack harddrive or something or just select xbmc in the file exploerer menu and copy but it doesn't give me an option where to copy to for instance the e drive I went as far as selecting copy and then the menu popped up Checking files preparing to copy files do not turn off xbox checking....

and I chickened out because I thought that it would copy it to the c drive and mess up everything here is a scren shot at this link k

notice on the right hand side that c drive is highlighted I cannot even get over to the right hand side colum so what do I do to copy the whole XBMC file on data dvd to E:\Apps\XBMC thanks alot fellow afterdawn people you always come through with the right answer

DO I NEED AN INSTALLER/SHORTCUT OR ETC.?

here is a loittle more info that might be useful
\Download the latest version of XBMC and put it on a data DVD and use file explorer to put it in - E:\Apps\XBMC

First you'll have to go into the "E:\Apps\ location on the right-hand side. I'm not sure what file explorer you're using.. uhm.. I don't understand how you can't get to the right-hand side.. hmm. Very confusing, just keep messing around with it untill you can get into the E:\Apps location on the right-hand side. But make sure you DON'T unlock the hard drive OR put it in C:\

kywildcat (12 Dec 2006 13:17) me neither I don't understand why it won't let me on the right hand side I'm using unleashx and I put the disc in find it in the d drive and then select it by pressing the x buton it turns yellow but I have tried evry button pushed in toggles pulled trigger any ideas I want to thank you once again mik3h I really appriciate it

yea if u want to get to the right hand side i believe its the Right trigger on ure xbox controler if not then find out wut kind of file browser it is an i might be able to help u out

just make sure ure in the E:\ Folder and i think u hit the white button it will have a list of things u can click on look for any thing to do with new folder and just name it Apps and there u go it will be created an just copyxbmc into it

hi ppls does any body out there in this crazy world know how to patch .xbe files. I have an xbox(the black one) with a 320gig hdd running unleashX all the games i have in here run great but i put NFS Carbon on my drive and it only gets to the(push start button) screen. when i push start nothing happens is there a crack or patch to install to run the game from my hdd. thanx if anyone can help..

ok i just got it and it works the problem is where and what folder do i put the movies in and i got XBMC 2.4 can i watch the movies on there and how you do that to cause i copy the movie but dont know where to go to see it in XBMC?
