Custom Ringtones for V3M not playing all the way through

So, I successfully transferred custom ringtones to my Razr V3M phone. They play when my phone rings BUT, they don't play in their 20 second entirety. Now, I'm not trying to annoy, but if I wanted to hear the whole thing, what do I need to do? At this point, it seems like the first 5-6 seconds are repeated as the phone goes through the ringing process. Any suggestions?
