nFS carbon and ar max on hdl HELP

so i got the ar max to load when i click on nfs carbon but when i select the cheats in expert mode and click start then start game with cheats it does to the launching game screen and never boots NFS Carbon. does anyone know why this is or what i did wrong. Also i noticed that all the games did not have a Master code anywhere in them.

Well there is a way to get ar to work with the hd but it's a long difficult process

ive gotten it to work. It loads ar max when i click nfs carbon on hdl but when i select codes and start game with codes it just sits at the launching game screen
