shrink encounters a error as soon as you try to start anyone know what i need to do

I've had that happen to me before. I believe I just reinstalled it. You could try that, but if the problem happens again then I'm afraid I don't have anymore ideas...

Get DVDFab Decrypter it is free, rip the movie to your HDD and then proceed with Shrink. This movie probably has protection Shrink cannot handle on it's own.

Or dl free trial of AnyDVD and CloneDVD it is good for 21 days.

Media is locked to region(s): 1!

Found & removed RCE protection!
DVD structure appears to be correct.
Structural copy protection not found.
Found & removed Autorun from Video DVD!
Bad sector protection not found.
Emulating RPC-2 drive with region 1!

shrink should do this movie fine, make sure your copy is clean

anydvd/clonedvd2 worked for me

All you need to do is this. If you follow this it will rip and burn ANYTHING Get Ripit4me, get DVD Decrypter, get Nero cheapest version, get FixVTS. Install them all. Run Ripit4me, it will check for updates for itself and FixVTS every time you run it. Keep them updated all the time. Then Click 1Click Wizard Mode. Then tell it where to save the files... That is really it then it does the rest. I promise you will never have a problem again. Solved.
