hello all, is it possible to play back up xbox games on the 360. can someone help as to maybe the steps needed. thanks

yes it is; you simply need to use the same method of backing up that you do for 360 games, meaning copying to double-layer DVD+R discs.

i have downloaded some but i do not get the image dvd file. so I can't copy i am using Dvd Decryptor. Thanks for your reply. Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong.

you don't use DVD Decrypter. you need to read How to Burn XBox360 Games, man. there's plenty of guides, so please read before you bring up the same old questions.

you have softmodded by flashing your drive's firmware, right? otherwise, no backups for you.

I have done plenty of backups for the xbox 360 games but I have not done any for the regular xbox. I have downloaded from bin three games that don't have the image file to use with clonce cd. then I tried dv decryptor. what is the difference between 360 and a reg as far as backups go.

The only way you can play backup xbox1 games on the 360 is if they were ripped xtreme style with the ss.bin file patched and burned to DVD+R DL discs.. Until xtreme 5 comes out for you samsung users anyway.

You won't be able to play the Xbox games you download on a 360, because most aren't xtreme ripped from a retail game and patched with the SS. The very Xbox games out for download that are playable on a 360 will clearly say that.
