I think one of the best is the opening battle scenes in Saving Private Ryan....it lasts a good fifteen minutes or so and the effects are extraordinary and keep right on going if you're looking to set stuff up. The movie starts with the older WWII vet at a military cemetery in France, goes to the grave of the guy that saved him then it flashed to the beaches of Normandy and the sound effects are awesome and last a good long time.

The effects are pretty intense and they go on for quite some time so its handy if you're setting things up.

Good one gerry. Saving Private Ryan is a great demo movie.
Cars and Superman Returns, have some good surround in them too.
Star Wars: Ep.1........the pod race is a good one.
The DTS version of Gladiator, is a very good one for a 6.1 system.
Bad Boys II has some very good demo material too.
There is really too many to mention...........

well; if you're talking about getting a THX Demo Disc; or DTS Demo Disc; then you're out of luck because those aren't sold retail.....

...although; if you do want to purchase one; the place to look is on Ebay because normally somebody will have a THX/Dolby/DTS Disc for sale......although I'm not sure if they're bootlegs or not.....thats something you'll have 2 find out yourself....
