Why must you flash your drive everytime you want to make a backup? Or is that not true. I remember reading somewhere that that is the advantage of getting something like the samsung shd162c drive

No, you don't have to flash it, yet you have to hook it up to your computer still. I would wait for the Blaster from team-xecuter to come out. It looks like it'll be good!
