MY MOD IS OLD THERE FOR USES 2.0 DOES THIS MAKE A DIFFERANCE WHEN USEING NEWER BACKUPS

Don't TYPE IN ALL CAPS; this is read as shouting and considered rude. Moreover, it is against the rules and a bannable offense.

Newer versions have better compatibility, with older versions you may need to use CDLoader to boot some games.

actually the newer version (swap magic 3.6 plus) dvd disc does not work, becouse alot of people have been complaining about their dvd disc not loading to the swap screen.

2.0 is really outdated. It had a few problems that were solved
with the release of 3.0
I would think about what you want. You can update the discs
to a newer version. Of spend some extra money and buy a good
modchip and forget all about swapping.

I still use 2.0 & don't have any problem with newer games. In fact it works better with some of the recent games released than 3.6 or 3.8 does.
Eg: Scarface. You don't need ZoneLoader with SM2.0, but you do with later versions.
