I've been browsing through this section a lot; and I can't seem to get a real answer anywhere; so I'll ask straight out.

Does anyone know how to make a backup from an original 360 disc? I understand that it would require firmware replacement, but I want to know if anyone has had success with this yet?

You need the Samsung PC Drive SH-D162c to make backups of original discs. Then you need a DL burner to burn the images. Then you need a modded 360 with xtreme firmware to play. Hope all this helps. Just check out the various stickies on this site to tell you everything you need to know.

Also the samsung has to be flashed with kreon firmware
