You can get the E66 if you have flashed a MS28 based firmware to MS25. As long as you used Samread 0.5 or above to flash it, you will be ok. 0.5 or above makes the 360 think it has a MS25 based firmware, when infact the latest xtreme version 4.2 is MS28 based. Actually, I dont think your Xbox360 would boot up if you put a Ms28 based firmware on a 25 drive. You would get a red light of death, 4th quadrant.

It'd still boot up (before the Live update). You can download the 4.2a update firmware. It contains all the options you'll need for running the firmware and updating on Live.

Would it?I am just going off, when I was flashing my mates 360, I put on the latest xtreme (28 based) onto his MS25 drive. However, I used Samread 0.4 which doesnt trick the 360 into thinking the firmware is 25 based, and it wouldnt boot. Got a red ring of death in the 4th. Was the first time I had flashed a friends box aswell, lol, thought I had bricked it until I found out what the problem was!In any case its easily fixable

Sorry 'bout that Lip... I should've shortened the quote. I just meant that the ms28 firmware (4.2a) will work on the 25 if the "Xtreme 4.2ab firmware updated" is used.
