If anyone could be of any assistance in this matter, I would be greatly appreciative. I use Nero, the newest version, in conjunction with DVDShrink. I also utilize DVDFab Decrypter as well as DVD Decrypter in order to back up movies. Of late, I have obatained the same error message and cannot get rid of it no matter what I uninstall, reinstall, wipe out, or change. Any help would be ideal and grand.
The file you need is not there...make sure your DVDFab is up to date and rerip, you might consider running the file through FixVTS or VobBlanker before continueing as well.
I am having the exact same issue. After running DVD-Fab then Fix vts I run DVD Shrink. All appears fine until I get the error from Nero stating that a .vob file is missing. I did some checking and the mentioned file is there after DVDFab and after fixvts, it is after DVD Shrink that the file "disappears". Nero lets you continue to burn with warnings that the disc may not play correctly. Any thoughts.
Actually sir...I am still having probs...there is not equitable program for DVD Shrink to make copies that I have been able to procure. So, I am still stuck. I picked up 123DVD and gotten some luck..but the big dvd, like my back ups for my seasons of Voyager and the like are not fitting and only getting an episode or two. I have tried that which they suggested and still no dice...if any1 has any ideas...other than those forementioned, feel free to post.
I should note that I was running FixVTS because after running DVDFab, DVD Shrink was giving me errors saying that it could not read the data . I downloaded a trial of DVDFab Platinum, then ran DVD Shrink with no errors the used Nero also with no errors. This was on a DVD that had previously given me the problem that required FixVTS after DVDFab. Try the trial version of DVDFab Platinum.
