Normal DVD for Xbox One games?

I thought i might get Halo 2...after all let me see whats the hulabo all about. What set me wondering was, do i need to burn Halo 2 on a dual layer DVD or will a burn on a single layered disc work on the xbox 360?

normel dvd should work. cause xbox one games arent on dl discs after all. i think that you just have to have a certain code for it to work on 360 if its backed up..not sure on that part, but single layer dvd will work

Backup DVD5 wont play on 360. Not until Xtreme 5 comes out

Presently you will need to specially burn them on DL DVDs. I have heard there is a new firmware that will alow the Security Sector (SS) to be placed on the first layer, but the source for that has eluded me.

Without this new firmware, using the current released firmware, the SS has to be located on layer 2, even if the game fits on a DVD5.

There are many tutorials out there to run burned xbox game son your 360. Check places like xbox-scene and maxconsoles.

I second that.

The "code" is the security sector. As it stands right now you CANNOT use single layer dvd's.

C4E did announce that Xtreme 5 is suppose to support backups on dvd5's, but it's not out yet.

But your current Xbox 1 backups will still not work as they do not contain the ss. So once the firmware is out, you'll still need to re-backup your original Xbox 1 games.
