Pinnacle 9.4 error message

Studio 9.4 locks up each time I try to open the program. I get the following message. "

C\Documents and Settings\Ken Palmer\desktop\new york1\IMGP2406.JPG This cannot be found. Would you like to browse for it?"

Then when i click on either answer or try to close the error message the computer locks up and I must reboot. I have removed and reinstalled the program but the problems repeats. The file the program says it cannot find is a Studio 9.4 project which exists on my HD. Am at a loss and will appreciate any help. Thanks. Ken
