Concerned you wont be able to play Gran Turismo 4 on your new PS3 in Progressive scan mode? Worry no more. the Compatibility website has been upgraded. And i have personally tested the game and it is working fine.

Make sure you download the new 1.31 firmware.

I was doing good on Gt3 but never really played the 4th one for some reason. I had some car that went 290mph

It was red, it had this big thing on the back, and that is honestly all i remember.

I know there was a race version with decals but it was not as fast as the other one

That car isnt as fast in 4 as it was in 3.
My fave car in 3 would be the F1 car or the Panoz
In Gt4 my fave car is the Audi R8 for sure cause its an all rounder fast 420km/h top speed great acceleration I think it has the 2nd best acceleration in the game and Great steering just behind the F1 car i would say its overall the 2nd best in the game.
Maybe that proves why it won the Le Mans at the Circuit de la sarthe in
2000,2001,2002,2004,2005 and the succesor R10 won in 06
Didnt eneter in 03 because they Audi let Bently use their engine to help them achive a win in their final le mans whihc they did.
Ive done GT3 100% and GT4 100% on 4 I have like a 96.7% win ratio the hardest race was teh De la sarthe 2 24 hour.
But thats great that Ps3 can support it not like the 360 dam that thing runs 80% of xbox games and 75% have some probelms.
Hopefully i will pick up a Ps3 in march or up until july because I live in Australia

Should be the same because PS3 has the ps2 gpu and cpu whihc means its a ps2 when you run the game but i think it doesnt have a built in psone cpu and gpu so it emulates it that shoudnt matter because 3rd party psone emualtors are near bug free now i imagine the sony one is bug free so it sohuldnt cause any graphic problems

All PS2 games are in 480p if you have a hidef set which is great.This is something i heard no one talk about, i think this was a good idea to have all PS2 running at 480p.
