Backing up a 360 backup?

With the 360, I know to back up an ORIGINAL I need to have the flashed drive, or connect my flashed 360 drive to the pc. If I simply want to back up an existing backup or burn, do I still need to follow that process, or is there a special way to do it?

I tried reading the backup with CloneCD to no avail, so any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Any 1:1 burning program will work with a backup. There's no special steps. I used CCD to redo all my 2x's to 4x and it works... no problem. Make sure you're using the latest version.

I tried reading image with clonecd, it shows the layer break in the dvd file properly, but it will not play on my 360 after the reburn. I am using clonecd 5.2.9.1. Do I need to reapply ss patches and everything, or should it work right off the bat?

what burner are you using? If it's not a pioneer you'll probably have to set the booktype to DVD-Rom.

It is a pioneer, my original backup works fine, so does the original, just not the backup of the backup. It makes files like iso.001 -> iso.007 and a .dvd, but the reburn will not work.
