No. You may be able to try a WinRAR Password Cracker, but they'll take a long time and tends to produce false positives. Your only reasonable option is to check the torrent site (if you used a torrent) and see if there's a password list.
-Do you believe you own your computer and shouldn't be told what you can run and do? Then say *NO* to Microsoft Vista!
-Since half the questions here involve media problems, here ya go: Only use Verbatim or Taiyo-Yuden discs (get your TYs from Rima.com, not Supermediastore or meritline). Forget the rest, no matter what "brand" they sell under. Always burn at 4x speed regardless of the speed rating of this discs or your drive. If you have burn problems with these then you have to update your drive's firmware. For double-layer discs, only use Verbatim DVD+R DL and burn them at 2.4x speed.

Some password crackers work fine. Try, Ultimate Zip Cracker. Do not get the trial version as it will only give you the first five letters of the password. Look around on a warez site or for a torrent for the full version.
It should crack the pass in less than a minute or so.

Yeah, it does. I used it to get into a protected rar file full of Excel files. Worked like charm, but the trial version is a waste of time- passwords are normally longer than a mere five characters.

and the cpu you have
intel badaxe1 mobo, E6600 core 2 duo, 1gig 667mhz RAM, ATI X1950xtx crossfire, 320GB sataII internal, 320IDE USB2 external, 19inch 2ms BenQ lcd, liteOn Dvd writer

Yeah, exactly, but your CPU doesn't factor in much, as it doesn't use it much. With the free version of that program I mentioned, the length of the password doesn't matter. I've tried it on longer passwords and it works fine.

If you get a password protected rar file, you've got to ask, "Why are they doing this?". There is a bunch of reasons, like they want you to visit some cockamamie web site somewhere which will often dump a trojan on your system. Most real sharers don't protect rars in this way.
A very good example of this sort of scam is the Bitroll torrent client. It is a scam. The guy uploads fake torrents which don't contain the movie you expect from the name of the torrent. Casino Royale is a very common one. You have to get a "password" (which doesn't exist!) from their web site, which I think is in Russia. All you get is a trojan!
People with bitroll should uninstall it at once, and get decent antivirus and anti spyware software to check their system. The trojan is said to be very hard to remove.

Agreed.. there are some private trackers where the use of passworded archives is compulsory, mainly because the content of the files is criminal to say the least, and the uploaders are protecting themselves. I use a few places (hackers irc) where the passwords are used, but we all know and trust each other and give passwords freely within our community. Torrent sites that do this are generally bad news, and to the earlier poster who mentioned "warez".. Be careful what you say......

Criminal for various reasons... starting with copyright violation all the way to very creepy stuff.
I have to say that there are many web sites out there which exist to trap n00bs into getting a trojan or joining a botnet. They trap people who are new enough to think that you get stuff by a web search. Type 'warez' into Google, visit a site, get something for free. Not just software either. Certain kinds of multimedia material shall we say.
There is a very well known scam which they work in London. I daresay it happens all over the world. What happens is this. Two or three guys will set up the scam in a busy shopping street in the West End of London. They sell stuff out of a suitcase to people on the sidewalk. At very cheap prices. They will have a 'lookout' guy who pretends he is looking for cops. They want you to believe they are selling "stolen" perfume, or watches, or Gucci handbags, or whatever. They know that Mr or Mrs Average is mostly honest, but, hey, everybody loves a bargain, right? But the stuff isn't stolen, it's fake! The patsy is not going to hang around reading the label. If things gets a bit awkward, the 'lookout' will whisper (loudly) "Joe! Quick! the cops!!!" and the scammers (and everybody else) will move away fast.
