HI EVERYONE
[PROLOGUE]
I HAVE STARTED GAMES TROUGH uLaunchELF
ON MY V12 SLIM PS2. I CREATED A CD IN WHICH I PUT ALL MY PS2 APPS
(INCL. BUT NOT LIMITED TO uLaunchELF 4.??)
AND AFTER BOOTING ON MY PAL PS2 WHILE AT PS2 BROWSER I WENT IN CDFS
(WHICH AT THAT TIME HAD GRAN TOURISMO 4 IN IT.)AND PRESSED "CIRCLE" ON THE SLUS FILE AND IT LAUNCHED THE GAME!
HOW,EVER THE SAME DOES'NT GO FOR PSX TITLES THEY JUST GIVE YOU A BLACK SCREEN.
[QUERY]
NOW I AM PLANNING TO BUY A 80 GB SEAGATE BARRA+USB ENCLOSURE TO PLAY GAMES OFF USB DRIVE(NOT A GREAT COMPATIBILITY THOUGH).
BUT I WONDERED
WHAT IF I COPIED THE WHOLE GAME IN THE USB HARDDISK IN A FOLDER NAMED AFTER THE GAMES DVD TITLE(IT WON'T MATTER I GUESS). AND
HOOKED IT UP TO MY PS2 AND STARTED uLuanchELF AND NOW GOING TO THAT FOLDER VIA MASS (ASS IT IS REFFERED IN uLaunchELF) AND HITTING CIRCLE ON THE BOOTABLE FILE(SLUS,SLES SOMTHIN LIKE THAT)?
WILL IT WORK? PLEASE HELP ME.
SORRY FOR THE POOR ENGLISH AS IT IS MY 5th LANGUAGE!

got a 2 day ban for shouting(caps lock on), also knock off the excessive use of bold and red as not needed.
9. No ALL CAPS MESSAGES or you will be banned (you know, turn the caps lock off before you type anything).

Hmmm, that seems like a pretty good alternative to USBeXtreme/Advance. I'll try it out tomorrow with the two games I have on my USB hard drive. Then, I'll make a guide about it(with full credits to you, NHS2008, since this is YOUR theory, and it's really worth a test drive).

EDIT: Not working(at least not with the USB Advance installation method). Maybe it only applies to discs.

My console collection: Version 14A PlayStation 2(chipped), Version 7 PlayStation 2, PlayStation(both models), Wii, Gamecube, N64, Super NES(original from US and Japan and Mini), NES(front and top loader)Model 1 & 2 Genesis, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Atari 2600, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Master System(Model 1 and 2), Atari Flashback 1 & 2, FC Twin(2 in 1 NES/Super NES clone), GN Twin(2 in 1 NES/Genesis clone), Atari 7800, Intellivision II, TurboGrafx 16, GameBoy Color

Now iwill get a hard drive in few day after that iwill try & copy the whole disc (all the folders) by just copy & paste way in a folder named after the game. (not by USB Advance installation method)

Sorry, NHS2008, but that method just leaves a black screen when trying to boot a game with uLaunchELF. This method looked very promissing, but unfortunately, it doesn't work.
