hey does anyone how to turn off a modchip in slim ps2 beacuse i want to play a online i neeed to know how to turn off my modchip so i can play this game

most PS2 chips don't require that they be turned off for online play. Which chip do you have??

oh no beacuse this game is not burn it is the newest socom that just came out i remember that u have to like turn off your modchip to play real game online oh i forgot what chip i got i had it for like 2 year now

most every chip that has a sleep function enter them via different boot methods so without knowing which chip you have, it's like taking a stab in the dark on telling you how to turn it off.

Who installed it? You might ask them. Do you see a logo when you boot up your console other then the sony logo?

What version is your PS2? In order to boot PSX back-ups do you have to do anything special or does it auto boot PS2 and PSX back-ups. How long ago was the chip installed?

the version is scph-70011 i think that it and i got it install like 2 year ago and it the slim ps2 and it boot auto nothink speacil to do and

You can try and hold start from standby then tap reset, keep holding start until you see "disabled" on the screen. If this works then you have a MI or a MI clone. If not then you have some other chip.
