Hey guys,

usually i have very little trouble with this sort of thing, but i just cannot get these backups to work (entirely)

let me try to explain.

i am trying to backup some games for a friend, i myself dont own a 360.

so i did the research and such, and i have successfully backed up a game and patched it(i know it was successful as i had another friend write it with his pioneer and it worked perfectly.

my problem is (tried another, and now trying the original backup i know works)

when i write the game on a verb, with the latest cloneCD at 2-2.4 (or whatever it says)

everything is successful untill i put it in the 360 when i get a "open Tray" or "cannot read disk" error. (no i dont need the rubber band trick, as i said my mates burn of the same file gave no error)

if though, i cold boot (switch it on with game in, cold) the game will work, but after around ten minutes in i try to progress and it just crashes and gives me the "disk may be dirty" error

so im thinking its my NEC 3550A drive, is this drive able to burn 360 games correctly?

if not is there a fix, other than buying another drive?
