Hi all,
My problem is that i can't play any movie ISO files on my PSP.

My PSP is a 2.71SE-B Firmware and PSP DEVHOOK Ver 0.46.00 by BOOSTER, LAUNCHER/VSHEX Mod Ver. 1.65c by chunglam, And i also run PSP-HOST.
i can play all my ISO/CSO games via USB with no problems, But when it comes to movie ISO's i get the "this type of disc cannot be played" , This is all through PSP-HOST as i dont have a big Mem Stick, But i have ordered a 4gig MS which is due to me soon. Can someone also talk me through how to play the ISO/CSO games from Mem Stick through VSHEX Mod / DevHOOK ? but my main problem is the movies..

wen u download a movie it shouldnt be iso cuz wen i download a movie from a torrent site it is usually for MP_ROOT folder or VIDEO foler not ISO

You could also try ripping the PMF files from it using UMDGen and then using a player to play it on your PSP.

@pspjunior i opened the ISO with ULTRAISO and i see 2 files one is UMD_VIDEO (that one is a folder) and the other is UMD_DATA.BIN are these any good ? if so can u provide a walk through on how to get it to work ? and without it being on MS as i only have a 32meg MS at the moment.
if they no good can u still provide a walk through on the MP_ROOT folder ? thanks for reply also.

What are the files inside the UMD_VIDEO folder? If you find any PMF files you can extract them.

damn image shack... anyway in that folder is 3 files.. MPS files
named... 00001.MPS 00002.MPS 00003.MPS
the first MPS file is like 1429250 kb in size the other 2 are smaller then 8000 kb

Ok I googled "PSP MPS Files" and it turns out theres no way to convert them.

You'll just have to find another way of playing them on your PSP.

BTW Did you download it from a torrent site? If so, try reading the comments for it and see if anyone has got it working.
