I want to try it, but theres no download yet :-(
I have a couple of TA-082's in a drawer, though I think one might be a 2.80 so no downgrade for that one.

Just saw it on qj. Although I'm super excited about this, I'm going to wait awhile, so other people can try it and confirm that it works. :P

Well people say that if your psp wasn't originally a 2.5, you won't be able to dump your firmware. But they do say that the dump is not needed to downgrade. So do I just type in the serial code of my psp, and skip the dump part?

The tif file in my eloader keeps showing as corrupted. o.O I've redownloaded the eloader 2 times from qj, and the tif file is still corrupt. Anyone got a working 2.5 eloader tif file to spare?

were did the recovery come from? and how did u recover it? just use the 1.5 eboot again? does that work?

The Dark_ALex POC has a recovery mode, luckily that installed when I attempted the install of the frmware, so I was able to recover by just holding 'R' and running the recovery which I had replaced with the Sony 2.50 updater.
