i just got traded a psp with firmware 2.0 and i had 3.02 so now im happy but cant find a emulator for it.please help

Downgrade to firmware 1.5 using this guide:

Then download emulators from http://www.psp-hacks.com

Yes I have tried it, and it works great.

If you follow the instructions carefully and have a full battery and the AC adapter plugged in then it wont brick your PSP.

ok but one question...it says download the following 2 files the mph downgrader and 1.5 eboot or 2.00 eboot which one do i choose

Only download the 1.5 update. They have only linked to the 2.0 update for people who don't already have firmware 2.0 and need to upgrade.

does extracting files mean to unzip them?

Yeah it does.

EDIT: Just checked the guide, where does it say to extract? It just says unzip.

when i click the link i have the option of saving it or opening it.i chose to save.then i extracted the files and the h.bin file disappered.but if i just open the file its there.but its compressed

Have you opened it in windows or in WinZIP (or another Zip program)? If you've opened it in windows, just go to File-->Extract All and then extract it.

K then, yeah there are emulators for firmware 2.0.

But the process is longer and you're better off downgrading, but anyway you can play homebrew on your PSP using the eLoader, download it from here:

no it was my mcafee program that was deleting it.but anyways where do i copy the overflow.tif thing to...im confused

Copy that to X:\PSP\PHOTO\ (where X is the drive letter of your PSP).
