how do u rip a dvd?
cant u just copy and paste?

It would be pretty cool if that was all you had to do...

Well to rip the dvd you're going to need a dvd ripper. There's plenty to choose from but the ones that seem to be the most popular are DVD Decrypter and smart ripper.

After you rip the dvd to your hard drive you will have to now choose what you want to do with them. Have a look at the afterdawn guides as to what you feel suits your needs.

If you dont have a dvd burner I suggest taking a look at the dvd to divx or dvd to xvid guides.
