Is Imgburn better than NERO 6? If yes, why? If no, why? Thanks!

As far as burning movies, they both do the job equally as well. As far as burning CDs, Data disk, system backups, and all of the other great features that Nero offers; ImgBurn doesn't stand a chance!
Why was this posted in the Shrink forum?

They're both good, so keep them.
I know some people despise Nero because of its common issue with other tools. I, on the other hand, swear by Nero Burning Rom/Express (yep, I'm sucha Nero-holic, especially Nero Recode/Digital, Burning Rom/Express, Vision and ShowTime). Been using Nero for ages and I've never had any issue when it comes to DVD burning.
In regards to ImgBurn, it is definitely one of the greatest (FREE) ISO image or VIDEO_TS burning application.

I've used both and Imgburn seems a lot quicker than Nero 6 on burning and it will verify the burn, if Nero can do that I haven't found it yet. Obviously as syxguns said Nero does a lot more.
What I would like to do is Recode with Nero 6 and burn with Imgburn, but I haven't found how to do that either.
Did someone mention Shrink?...

@Altercuno
Either Nero Burning Rom or Express will/can verify the burn once it's completed if you've ticked/checked on "verify" in prior to the burning process.
Nero Recode is pretty easy once you got the hang of it. I've made a guide for Recode in the past on my page/blog, specifically for HOSTEL. I might make a brand new guide for Nero Recode soon and post on my blog, so check it out soon.
Best of luck!!

ImgBurn guide? Is that you're trying to say? Yes, both links under my sig. included the burning process using ImgBurn to burn the ISO image created by DVD Shrink.
I also made a guide with ImgBurn to burn the VIDEO_TS directly via Build Mode on my "blog" or at the "user submitted guide".

Yep, that's another cool buddy of mine, LOCOENG. It's all good, no need to apologize.
Burning the VIDEO_TS folder using ImgBurn
NOTE: Guide taken from PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2: Dead Man's Chest (US, Region 1)
STEP 4: Burning the ISO image with ImgBurn

Now insert a high quality blank media into burner.
NOTE: I highly recommend Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim or Hitachi Maxell (Made In Japan).

Click on Mode, then Write.

Use the Arrow to select your "destination".

Use the ?Folder icon? to browse and locate the ISO from hard drive.

Click on the ISO image and Open.

Once the ISO has been loaded, click on the Arrow to choose your burning speed.

After choosing the burn speed, click on the ?green Arrow? to write/burn.

Now relax and sit tight, ImgBurn (The Ultimate Image Burner) is burning. It should be done shortly.

Presto!! ImgBurn is completed. Click OK and just Exit out.

Enjoy the short guide!!

I quite often burn a VIDEO_TS folder from Recode2 to my hard drive. I also like to use DVD Shrink for the same thing. I personally believe that Shrink has a better analysis protocol. Using Shrink I know that you have the option to change the image to an ISO, but I normally don't do that. I keep everything in the VIDEO_TS format.
When you use Recode2 to do the VIDEO_TS folder you have to give the folder a name. In other words let's say the movie is Fearless. I would tell Recode2 to burn it to a folder, then I would select the browse option and create a folder called Fearless under the drive that I wanted the folder placed. Then I would create another folder under that called VIDEO_TS. Basically it would look like G:\Fearless\VIDEO_TS
Now Shrink will create the VIDEO_TS folder for you. Just make sure that you have that selection checked under the general category when you are in the process of backing up the image. So if I am using Shrink I just create a folder that looks like G:\Fearless. Shrink will add the other material including the VIDEO_TS.

DVD Shrink with Nero Burning Rom here I like to rip to hard drive first then burn but that's just my preference. I like Nero Burning Rom better than ImgBurn because it is easier to use.
You can pickup Nero 7.0 Enhanced for $10 at Buy.com
