Cheets fellas,

I will install 98 as I have always prefered it as an operating system. Less hard disk space and much more faster.

Now, just keep in mind that you can run into problems with Win98 using FAT32. FAT32 has trouble with files over 1 GB, and can't deal with anything over 4GB at all. If you have OS's available, then I would use 2000 or XP and format your hard drive using NTFS.

Yeah, fat32 is useless. NTFS is a much better way to format. Im a right in saying that once you format in one or the other, there is no way to change that with a re-format?

2000 and XP have a utility that allows you to convert FAT32 to NTFS. However I would not recomend doing that, however. I've seen it done 3 times and every time we were rebuilding the computer within a few months.

Yeah? I didnt know about the Windows XP and 2000 being able to convert. Sounds like it wouldnt work too well as you say. Im just glad i new to go with NTFS because i know a few people who formated their hard drives to Fat32 because they didnt know otherwise and then installed XP.
