Just so you know, the faster the harddrive is, the better it will play.

I've tried different set ups, like the small 4800 rpm harddrives that come in those realy small cases, they suck. too slow.
Laptop harddrives, like at 5400rpm, is a bit better, but still stutters alot during the fmv and stuff.
Now the 7200 rpm desktop harddrives I connected up using a usb to ide adaptor worked great, completely reduced the stutter to about once every few seconds.
Get a 10000rpm hd, and maybe the stutter will be gone. Just depends on how much of it is because of the usb interface.

which makes me wonder, if there's a firewire port, and the usb is just version 1.1, wouldn't it make more sense to use the firewire port for external hd? Or even for networking to a computer. I wonder if anyone tried that...

guess it depends on what sort of drivers you can find for it...

To remove the games you will need to plug the USB drive into a pc.

Run the USB extreme installer program (you also use it to load the games to the Hard drive).

Select the hard drive in the "Hard Drive" drop down option, this will show you what games are installed.

Click with the left mouse button on the game you no longer want and then right mouse click it.

A menu appears and select "delete" easy

OR if you want to remove all of them just refomat the drive.

Thank you VERY MUCH. I use the Dos install but thanks to you I found a better way to install and NOW delete games.
