okay i will be getting my sata card from egghead soon (The 6421L chipset)and I been reading all about flashing my sammy ms28 drive. Now I will be followed this tutorial, http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?s...+way+flash+ms28

but I am following everything until the part it mentions to type "360sam orig.bin xtrem42b.bin hacked.bin". I read somewhere that the 360samhack requires you to type the xbox's serial number. Would i still have to do this following this tutorial or is this samhack something else? I mean can someone shed some light on this and also what's the difference between the "bad flash recovery method and every other method used to flash a ms28 drive? I am also planning on using the xtreme bootmaker for this flash can anyone recommend this method?
