Hello! :) I've done some browsing of this site, and have to say I'm impressed. ^_^

Down to business!

I'm interested in purchasing a Swap Magic, however I don't know which one to buy. My PS2 is a Slimline Satin Silver model, an SCPH-7000X I believe (with a number instead of the X). What discs and tools would I need exactly to get those much more expendable backups working? And if anyone could recommend a speedily delivering UK shop, I'd be indebted to you!

Hi there. I think i may have the same model PS2 as you.

I used Magic Keys II + Swap Magic 3.6 to mod my system.

Everything works fine except that I cannot close my flip top. I don't think I'm the only one that has this problem... I emailed them about this and they said that if everything was installed correctly, then it should be able to close. However if everything is working fine, they recommend that i leave it as it is.

Do a google search for "Magic Keys" and you'll find more information. Make sure you buy Magic Keys II though.

I got my mods from www.modchip.com, they ship from Monaco and I received it about a week (in the USA.)

there is a PS2 version chart.
It looks that you have either a V12 or V13
The Magic Keys II say they work with both so you should be ok with those.
