Now I've finally managed to upgrade to SE-C (thanks touran) and I tried opening Devhook and iRshell and both loaded, then either turned off, or stayed on a black screen.

Also, I managed to use iRshell earlier, and it said iRemote only works on 1.5 :(

Now i'm just thinking, maybe I should just downgrade to 1.5 again and stay there.

i agree with u 100% there is nothing different the only difference is u have to use devhook to load higher versions with 1.5 can do anything!

no im on SE-C to. all the homebrew such as irshell and stuff need to go inside the GAME150 folder. if u dnt have that fodler, make one inside PSP. and i dont know if irshell remote works? ill try it adn let u no.

Keep 2.71 SE-C because it has these cool features:
-2.71 SE-C has a recovery mode so if you semi-brick your PSP you can repair it.
-2.71 SE-C has a noUMD mode, so you can play ISOs without a UMD
(however not all games work with this)
-2.71 SE-C allows you to run ISOs directly from the GAME-->Memory Stick menu (but this is only for ISOs that run on DevHook 0.46)
-2.71 SE-C allows you to run plugins from your memory stick (this includes the MP3 plugin which allows you to listen to MP3s while in the XMB or while playing a game). Also you can use the DevHook autoboot plugin to get your PSP to automatically boot into emulated 3.02.
-2.71 SE-C can run HEND homebrew.

firstly, how do i get this plugin (mp3) and how does it work? i really want it!

2.u on the autoboot, is there a way to stop it loading on startup? when ever i turn on my psp it coems up with SEPLUGIN then 5 4 3 2 1 then boots my xmb?
and on devhook i can change my autorun? what button shall i press to change it to 0?
