how can i get my ipod video to play on my xbox360 using the usb that came with the ipod .thanks

well, did you use iTunes to upload all of your Music to your computer? If so then I can't help you because the files would be in .mp4 not .mp3 wich is what the XBOX360 uses.

This should be in the 360 section as there would be more knowlegable help there.

Make sure you've downloaded the ipod update from xbox live (free), then just plug it into one of the usb ports, the same as you would do on a computer. Then you can see it under the media/music sections, but you won't be able to play songs that you've bought off of itunes that are in m4p (or mp4) format, but you can always burn those to cd and rip them right back into itunes. Make sure to change the importing option to mp3 by going to Edit>Preferences>Advanced>Importing, then change the "Import using:" to "MP3 Encoder".

I burn/rip all of my music, I figure if I payed for it I should be able to play it on any machine, the only problem is that you'll end up with a lot of duplicates in itunes.
