I've been looking everywhere for a good emulator but i think they're all pretty old ...or am i wrong ?? im still new to psp homebrew world, so maybe someone could guide which emulator to install and where to install the roms and how to run the emulator ?!!

I know this is kind of a lot to ask for ...im just unable to find a good guide out there

download one of the emulators and read the readme. thats how i first learned how to install homebrew back in the day. In fact I remember which homebrew my psp saw first. heres a short generalization tho:
X:\PSP\GAME - Is where the emulator itself goes.
X:\PSP\GAME\ROMS - Maybe ROM - Where the roms go.

X is whatever drive letter windows signs your device.

Follow these instructions:
1. Download the NeoGeo emulator from here:
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/604
(this is the newest one)

2. Extract ngepsp_rc2.zip and copy the ngepsp and ngepsp% files in the 1.5 folder to X:\PSP\GAME150\ (where X is the drive letter of your PSP).

3. Now put your ROMs in X:\PSP\GAME150\ngepsp\roms\

4. Now on your PSP go to GAME-->Memory Stick and run the emulator.
