2.71 SE-C Recovery Mode: "The game could not be started (DADADADA)"

whenever i try to reflash with the recovery mode all i get is this: "The game could not be started (DADADADA)". how do i get past this?

Alot of people had problem with this error. I just downloaded one of the 2.71 SE-C installer packs that had the 1.50 recovery option along with the rest of the stuff and that worked perfect.

i also downloaded one of those packs, but games won't load and most homebrew won't run so i tried to flash back to 1.50 with the recovery flasher, but i keep getting the message above. the se-c flasher freezes up on the white PSP loading screen and the psp shuts off entirely. what could be doing this? and is there any way around it?
